Why this matters

Disinfection isn’t a brand of spray bottle. It’s a verifiable process.

Half the "disinfection" services in this city are theatre: a person in PPE walking through with a hand sprayer, no contact time, no verification, no documentation. That doesn’t reduce pathogen load and it doesn’t protect your facility during a real outbreak.

Effective disinfection requires three things in sequence: a clean surface first (pathogens hide in soil), the right chemistry at the right concentration for the required contact time, and verification, either through ATP swabbing or, for high-stakes environments, microbiological testing.

The deliverable is a documented process you can show a regulator, an insurer, or a worried tenant, not a photograph of someone fogging an empty room.

Scope of work

What’s included.

Disinfection is delivered as a program, a scheduled add-on to recurring cleaning, or a one-off response. Standard inclusions below; scoped to your environment and risk profile.

Recurring · Weekly to monthly

Scheduled high-touch program

  • Detail disinfection of touch-points: hardware, switches, rails, taps
  • TGA-listed chemistry with documented contact times
  • Shared equipment in gyms, clinics, change rooms
  • Bathroom and amenity deep-sanitise on a defined cadence
  • ATP swab spot-checks for verification & trending
Electrostatic · Periodic

Electrostatic spraying & ULV fogging

  • Electrostatic application for even charge-bonded coverage
  • ULV fogging for hard-to-reach surfaces and air-handling components
  • Wraparound coverage on complex geometries (desks, screens, gym kit)
  • Programmed for healthcare and allied-health between sessions
  • Re-entry guidance & signage during contact-time window
Outbreak · 24-hour response

Norovirus, gastro, COVID, influenza

  • Same-day or next-day mobilisation, Melbourne metro
  • Two-stage process: clean then disinfect, never combined
  • PPE-graded crew, full waste containment, documented chain of custody
  • Risk-aligned chemistry per pathogen and surface type
  • Photographic documentation and incident sign-off
Food production · HACCP

Food-grade sanitisation programs

  • HACCP-aligned chemistry, colour-coded, allergen-segregated
  • Conveyor, racking, prep-surface sanitisation
  • Verification swabbing aligned to your HACCP plan
  • Pre-audit deep clean ahead of BRC, SQF, customer audits
  • Documented sign-off retained for regulatory review
Pricing transparency

By response, by program, by site. All quoted.

Disinfection is rarely a one-size scope. Bands below give you a feel; the real quote depends on surface area, surface mix, frequency, and verification requirements.

One-off response

From $640 + GST

Single-visit response for a confirmed case or pre-event sanitise. Up to ~600 m² electrostatic application plus high-touch detail.

Recurring program

From $1,200 + GST/mo

Weekly high-touch detail + monthly electrostatic across mid-size site. Includes ATP spot-checks, documented monthly report.

Outbreak rapid response

From $2,400 + GST/callout

24-hour mobilisation, two-stage clean-then-disinfect, full PPE, waste containment, chain-of-custody documentation. Healthcare and food production priority.

Common questions

Sanitisation, six questions answered.

If your question isn’t here, the full FAQ covers 28, or call 0433 173 504.

What chemistry do you use, and is it safe?
We use TGA-listed disinfectants matched to the target pathogen and surface. For most commercial environments that’s a quaternary-ammonium or accelerated-hydrogen-peroxide formulation, both with strong evidence base, low toxicity and short re-entry windows. SDS available on request for every site.
How is electrostatic spraying different from a regular spray?
Electrostatic gives the chemistry a positive charge so droplets are attracted to surfaces, wrapping around the back of objects, coating complex geometries evenly, and bonding to surfaces rather than just sitting on top. Coverage is faster and more uniform than a hand sprayer, which matters when you’re billing contact time.
How fast can you respond to an outbreak?
Same-day where possible for Melbourne metro, next-day at worst. Healthcare and food production sites get priority slotting. For known recurring risk (winter gastro, flu season), we’d typically build a pre-arranged response plan so mobilisation is faster than a cold callout.
Do you verify the disinfection actually worked?
ATP swabbing is standard on recurring programs, it measures organic residue as a proxy for cleanliness, and trends matter more than single readings. For higher-stakes environments (healthcare, food production), we partner with NATA-accredited labs for microbiological testing where the regulatory frame requires it.
Can we keep working during the disinfection?
Generally no, the surface needs to be dry for occupation, and most chemistry has a re-entry window (10–30 mins typical). We schedule disinfection between sessions in clinics, after-hours for offices, or during shift change-over in production environments to minimise disruption.
Is fogging or electrostatic better?
They solve different problems. Electrostatic is the workhorse for surfaces, faster, more even, easier to verify. ULV fogging is for situations where you can’t reach the surface (HVAC, complex voids, equipment internals) or where you’re targeting airborne load specifically. Most programs use electrostatic; outbreak responses often combine both.
